Very tidy and original 1951 Austin A30 which has lived in the hot dry climate of South Africa till about a year ago. Since being over here it has been dry stored. Its fully Uk registered and is very solid and original in terms of the body. Ideal cheap classic or perfect base for a historic race car.
Body - RHD Austin A30 from South Africa. Really clean original shell. Doesnt look like its had any repairs and is very solid in all the places that these usually rust. Paintwork is presentable and usable but not a very period colour.
Mechanics - All totally standard . Car starts runs and drives but we only have driven it around the industrial estate. There is nothing obviously wrong with it but as with any classic car it willl need a good checkover being putting it into service.
Interior - Looks like its been retrimmed at some stage as a bit too clean and tidy to be original. Good seats and door cards. Carpet a bit worn
Overall a very solid little car which is way better than one thats been subject to 50 odd british winters. Please feel free to come and see the car. We have ramps so you can look underneath. Delivery cab ne arranged if required. please ask for a quote.
