Ford Cortina 1.6 Pickup. This is  factory built vehicle in South Africa with the rear body similar to our P100. This truck has never been welded and in the main is super solid.  Starts runs and drives and as still in use prior to export. Will need Uk registered but we will fill out all the paperwork for the new owner.

 

Body - Genuine Ford built pickup or bakkie as they are known in South Africa. Never been welded. Good original inner wings, sills, front floors, body sides, tailgate, doors, bonnet. Shell is about as clean as you can get. Paintwork is a bit worn here and there but you can see its not hiding anything. All panels are good and no evidence of filler. Perfectly useable as it is but if you wanted a show car youd neeed to paint it. 

 

Mechanics - Good 1.6 crossflow and 4 speed box. Starts first turn. Very quiet engine.  Clutch brakes and gearbox all good. 

 

Interior - All complete with no major rips or tears. Seat will need a good clean as it was a working truck.

 

Wheels - Standard steels with Ok tyres, original hubcaps and chrome trim rings.
