Ford Escort 1600 Sport. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Will need Uk registered but we can assist with this. Good solid shell which needs a bit tidying up. Car starts runs and drives



Body - Genuine 2 door sport shell with similar strengthening to our RS models. In the main a good solid shell with Original floors, chassis rails, inner wings, strut tops,rear arches. Floor is a little dented where its been jacked up in the wrong place but will knock back down no problem. Evidence of a minor bump on osf wing which has been repaired by Shoddy Roddy the blind panelbeater . Probably best to fit a new osf wing. Spare wheel and tank wells have been repaired by Fibreglass Freddie and will need redone to a better standard with some nice metal!!! The bits that have been repaired have been done badly but overall a good shell and not a huge amount of work to sort it out. Paintwork is ok but again probably want to redo it to a better standard.



Mechanics - All standard 1600 sport. Car starts runs and drives. Will need checked over mechanically, carb will need adjusted for our climate. Engine sounds fine and is not smoky or rattly.



Interior - All standard but looking a bit worn. BAck seat is good. Fronts would need repairs. Headlining good. Door cards have speaker holes. Carpet would need replaced.



Wheels - standard deep dish sport steels.



Overall a good starting point for a running resto or project car as its a strong shell but needs a bit love. Feel free to come and see the car . We can put it up on a ramp if required. Delivery can be arranged please ask for a quote.
