Ford Escort MK2 1.3L, Very Original car which has just been imported from South Africa. Fairly solid old car but will need a few small repairs on it. Will need UK registered but we will complete all the paperwork for you to register it in your name.

 

Body - Mk2 Escort 4 door shell  Original inner wings, strut tops, floors, arches, sills. Will need very small repairs on front floors, Boot well looks like its been repaired in the past otherwise very original underneath. Good boot bonnet and doors. Paintwork is presentable with only minor marks. Not a show winner but perfectly useable.

 

Mechanics - Nice quiet 1300 crossflow. Standard 4 speed gearbox. Good brakes. Car starts runs and drives. It feels quite tight and was in use prior to import. As with any old car will need a good checkover before using it regularly. Carb will need adjusted due to the different climate

 

Interior - Front seats have been retrimmed. Good rear seat, door cards and headcloth. Good dash top.

 

Wheels - Standard steels with original hubcaps.
