Ford Escort S1 RS Turbo. Genuine 54000 miles from new with 6 previous owners. Car has either been part of collections or enthusiast owned for the last 12 years at least, and has done very little miles in that time as can be seen from the MOT history. In the main its an unrestored car only ever having had a bit of paintwork to sort out stonechips etc.



Body - Original shell. Looks like all original panels. Date stamps still on the wings. Very straight . Underneath has been cleaned and painted in body colour at some point. There is no sign of any rust underneath you can see all the floor, every spot weld. No sweaty swollen sill lips or underseal hiding a multitude of sins. Very very good shell, probably as good as you will get. We know from a previous owner that the bonnet has been painted at some stage probably due to stonechips. Back arch on the lower edge has a bit of stone chipping which is common on these cars. Thats us being very critical . The car looks superb and is as good as any other unrestored examples you will find. Good panel gaps.



Mechanics - All totally standard and cleaned and detailed under the bonnet. No issues. Drives as it should and everything works.Recent service, timing belt and water pump.



Interior - Again all standard and in very good order. No cracks on dash, rips or tears. No saggy seats or worn bolsters.



Wheels - Standard rims been refurbed at some point. Very straight with no kerbing or damage.



I think this is the best example currently available. No disrespect to any other sellers but ive looked at whats about and i think this car stands head and shoulders above whats currently on the market. Please fell free to come and see the car.
