Ford Escort MK2 Van fitted with a 4AGE 16V Toyota Engine on 40s and a 5 speed box. This was an Import from South Africa a few years ago. Its now fully Uk registered and the V5 is here. It starts runs and drives and has had a fair bit spent on it recently. It will need a few jobs to finish it off.

 

Body - MK2 Van shell - Good inner wings, strut tops, arches, doors, bonnet. Has had work on front floors previously which are solid enough but not been done with the correct panels. Would benefit from being redone. This van has had small porthole style windows in it at some stage which have been removed. You can see it on the outside but behind the trim in the back you can see it. Paintwork is tidy and van looks nice and straight along the sides. Not a concourse show winner but very tidy looking van. Inside in the load area could do with being painted. Its rock solid  but needs finishing to the same standard as the outside.; The wood lining also needs redone as its a bit scruffy.

 

Mechanics - Starts easily and runs ok but would definitely benefit from a rolling road due to the different climate. 5 speed box fitted. Think its a 21R Toyota box. Electric fuel pump. Adjustable strut top mounts. Standard rear axle and brakes. Front Coilovers. Its a quick little van

 

Interior - High back seats not sure what from but quite tidy. New replica door cards, guages on dash. Momo suede steering wheel.

 

Wheels - 7" Superlite style wheels with good tyres

 

Needs a little bit of finishing off but will make a tidy van. Please feel free to come and see it . We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
