Body - Fairly solid 2 door shell. Good original strut tops, inner wings, chassis, doors.  Arch lips have been rolled up for bigger wheels. Has had repairs on lower quarters before.  Paintwork is very shiny and tidy but bonnet is a bit rippled. Floor has had a patch at the seat mount which is solid but could be tidier. Rear chassis leg needs at small repair right at the back. Tunnel has been modified to take a 5 speed box and need to be sorted out as its again not the tidiest.  Overall for a car of its age its pretty solid.

 

Mechanics - 1500 pre crossflow engine with a 5 speed box. Meissner intake (Rare SA item im told ) and weber 28/36 Carb. Car starts runs and drives and sounds well. Clutch and brakes are good. Throttle linkage is a bit heath robinson and could be done better.  

 

Interior - GT dash with all working clocks, front seats have been changed, door cards have been retrimmed. Good headling but back inner rear pillar trims and parcel shelf trim missing.

 

Wheels - Lotus steels with new tyres
