Ford Escort 1.3 MK2, RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA registration has been done and we will UK register the car in the new owners name. Very solid, straight good looking little car which has had a right few quid spent on it. Its only a 1.3 base model with sport decals seats etc but a very solid straight shell. Car will be Tax and MOT exempt

 

Body - Mk2 Escort 2 door base model shell. 1976 model so early shell with larger strut top holes. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, door posts etc. Looks to have only ever had a repair in spare wheel well but done very well. Paintwork is very nice. Car is really straight and not loaded with filler like some. 1300 sport gold decals fitted

 

Interior - Very clean sport seats, original headlining, good dashtop, carpet and door cards. Speedo clocks are standard non rev counter type. Sport Steering wheel.

 

Mechanics - Standard 1.3 crossflow which starts and runs fine. Carb may need adjusted for our climate but im pretty sure thats the first thing that will get changed as its the single choke type. Good engine, box, brakes, clutch .

Brakes and suspension are standard 

 

Wheels - Brand new 13 x 7 JBW RS replica wheels with new 185 60 13 tyres

 

Overall this is a very good looking straight solid car. Yes its only a 1.3 but not hard to upgrade. Easier and cheaper to heat this one up than to weld up a rotten 1600 / 2000.
