Ford Escort 1600 Sport. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA registration has been done and we can assist / advise with the UK registration. Good solid example which is pretty original underneath.

 

Body - MK2 Escort export spec shell with similar strengthening to our RS models. Good solid original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, pillars and floors. Good doors boot and bonnet. Its only ever had repairs in the boot wells but otherwise pretty square and original underneath. Paintwork is very tidy..

 

Mechanics - All standard 1600 sport. Engine sounds good. Gearbox is standard 4 speed. Clutch and brakes OK. Carb may need adjusted due to different climate.

 

Interior - Black Sport seats which are original and decent. Good carpet, door cards and headlining. Dash top been retrimmed but could do with being replaced

 

Wheels - Standard deep dish sport steels which have been refubished with good 205 60 13 tyres
