Ford Cortina 1.6 Pickup. This is  factory built vehicle in South Africa with the rare styleside body rather than the later body similar to the P100. This truck is solid from front to back and has never been welded. The paintwork could be better Starts runs and drives.

 

Body - Genuine Ford built pickup or bakkie as they are known in South Africa. Never been welded and is very solid from front to back. Paintwork is ok but could be better if im honest. All panels are good and no evidence of filler. 

 

Mechanics - Pickup starts runs and drives and was still used regularly in SA. It will need a checkover and the carb might need a bit of adjustment due to the different climate. Clutch brakes gearbox all good. 

 

Interior - Good dash top. Seats and door cards have been retrimmed with what looks like someones grandmothers curtains but no rips or tears. 

 

Wheels - Rostyle wheels with chrome trim rings. Look straight enough but will need a tidy up.

 

Really really solid old vehicle which with a bit improvement could be an absolute cracker. There are only a handful , if that of bakkies with this bodystyle over here so its very rare.
